The Twelve Points of The New GOP Strategy
for America
by
JV Wallace
Since the
presidential campaign in 2016, I have become very concerned about the
degeneration of a once respected political party into something
radical.
It has become rife with political
extremism, ignorance and a crippling absence of social conscience. By
using what the new Republicans have said, written and acted-out, on
the record, I have come to the following collection of twelve points
that I feel best represents their expressed strategy for the future of
the USA.
1. Radicalize nationalistic behavior among the
intellectually vulnerable.
Encourage simple, patriotic-sounding mottoes, slogans, symbols and
other paraphernalia. Display and wear flags everywhere, with party
slogans on clothing and in public displays.
2. Continue to create enemies/scapegoats as a
unifying cause.
Fabricate threats and foes: Racial, ethnic or religious minorities,
liberals, communists, socialists, immigrants, terrorists, etc.
3. Maintain traditional male domination of
government.
Enforce traditional gender roles rigidly. Enact legislation to
criminalize abortion, LGBTQ+ lifestyles, and books that do not conform
to party guidelines. Promote the United States as a white,
Christian-based government.
4. Declare freedom of the press the “Enemy of The
Party”.
5. Inflate national security threats to generate
apprehension.
Fear
is a useful motivational tool to gain support. Grow the military while
screening severely wounded veterans from public view.
6. Protect corporate power and the 1%, while
suppressing labor power.
7. De-value education and the arts.
Suppress higher education, academia, and science. De-fund public
education.
8. Direct public focus to crime and punishment.
Overlook the rule of law and forgo civil liberties when needed in the
name of patriotism.
9. Appoint to the judiciary, those who will put
loyalty above legality.
Use
governmental power and authority to protect accomplices from
accountability.
10. Dismantle the Democratic process.
Use
elected conspirators to generate distrust of Democracy at the local
level. Manipulate elections by smear campaigns and conspiracy
propaganda against opposing candidates by exploiting public apathy.
Enact legislation to control voting numbers or political district
boundaries.
11. Discredit human rights and social conscience.
Human
rights and social programs will be ignored in cases of need.
Confiscate Social Security savings to benefit the party.
12. Place the Constitution on “indefinite hold”.
Imprison those who publicly protest.
